The Humber Education Business Partnership is delighted to announce that we have joined forces for a third year with Maggie Philbin to bring to the Humber Sub Region “TeenTech Humber 2013″.

The event will be held at the KC Stadium on 11th July 2013 where once again 300 students aged 12-13 will have the opportunity to try their hand at experiments, handle leading edge technology and, most importantly, to meet the engineers, technicians and scientists behind their 21st century lives.

TeenTech will show young teenagers how their love for mobile phones and computer games could act as a gateway to a rewarding career developing the next generation of must have gadgets. Even more importantly, this age group is extremely environmentally aware and TeenTech shows them the role science plays in helping the environment.

Over 30 Local & National Employers in Science, Engineering & Technology will provide intriguing and practical encounters. The event allows students to be inspired by “real” engineers and have the chance to find out what’s really involved in their work and how important certain subjects like Maths and Physics can be for future careers.
