Here in Berkshire we’re really proud of TeenTech. We ran the first event here in 2008 and since then over a thousand teenagers and their teachers have been inspired by the brilliant engineers, scientists and technologists who support our events with such passion. This year another 300 teenagers from 30 different schools across Berkshire take part in challenges and experiments at Ascot Racecourse.

TeenTech attracts the UK’ s leading Science and Technology companies who recognise the difference they can make by sharing their technologies and their people.  Exhibitors include 3M, AWE, BBC, BT,Google, IET, JVC, RIM (BlackBerry), Sony, University of Reading, Syngenta QA and Atkins. In all, over 35 companies, from global to start-up will be bringing their shiniest technology and their best engineers and scientists to explain what it takes to be part of their world.

Amanda Richards, CEO,West Berkshire Education Business Partnership says “We have an amazing line up of companies set to inspire the young people of Berkshire at Teentech 2012 with a wealth of intriguing opportunities to get ‘hands on’.  We are proud to be a part of the team that is making this happen and looking forward to 4th May”. The event is organised by all three Education Business Partnerships in Berkshire – West, Central and East.

We welcome companies – either to run interactive stands or to lend us an “ambassador” who can join a small group of students to help steer them through the activities. If you’d like any more information on how to join us, do get in touch [email protected]
